My car broke down last week and that was a huge problem for me because where we live you really need a car to get around so I was frantic to get it fixed as soon as possible. I had it towed to a auto shop not too far from my house and since the mechanic seemed to know what he was doing, I left it there to be fixed. Well this morning he called me to tell me it was ready to be picked up so Inez and I got ready and walked to the shop to pick it up. When we got there he told me a much higher price than I was expecting, he said that there was a lot more wrong with the car than he originally thought and that’s why it was so expensive. I was about to cry, we didn’t have nearly enough money to pay for it and we definitely needed the car so I was about to panic! I asked him if there was any way we could work something out and he looked right at Inez when he said he thought he could figure out a way to help us out.
