My sweet little Tommy came to spend Monday with me. He showed up with a paci in his mouth and his arms were wide open when I answered the door. He is just so flipping adorable. I gave him a big hug and asked him if my baby would like to spend some time with his Mommy. He shook his head yes and came in.
I told him he needed to get out of those big boy clothes and then we would start. He came out of the downstairs bathroom in his footie jammies. He is always so squishy soft when he wears those. He was holding his diapie in his hand. I asked him why he didn’t have it on and he said he wanted me to put it on for him. He even had his diaper bag with him.
I told him that it would be a real pain for Mommy to put one on his when he was wearing footie jammies, but he just giggled. I am thinking he did this on purpose. I went into the closet and brought out the thick baby blanket that we use as our changing pad and placed It on the floor.
I had him lay down and I asked him if he was going to be a good boy or if he was going to be a wiggle worm. He giggled so I knew he was going to be a wiggle worm. I unzipped his footies and wrestled with him to get his legs out. I love footie jammies but when you are trying to either put a diaper on or change a diaper when they are on it can be trying.
I finally managed to get the diapie on him and he took off. He crawled so fast away from me, I had to chase him. He was giggling the whole time. Of course, I could of easily caught him but he was playing and both of us were having a good time. I love spending time with Baby Tommy. He had to leave early though, since my Brother and Niece were coming by. I just wish Tommy could play more often.
